Don’t hurt me, I’m just here to help

Don’t hurt me, I am just here to help

In a world filled with hate, I am here to love

I am your protector, I am your dove

I am your heart, I am your little love

I am your little sister, I am your baby cub

I am soft like water, I am just a tulip bulb

I am your daughter, but I can be strong like your first born son

I can be loyal, despite what they say, I am not dumb

I can be smart, I can be bright as the sun

I can be your everything or I can be none

I can write a novel, I can tell you war stories of where I am from

I can be silent as a warrior, I can be loud as a drum

I am here to help you, I am here to show you the power of the littlest one

I am your strongest soldier, I am your wonderful outcome

I am your sweetie, I am the goodness you will always succumb

I am you, I am the mum you never weaned from

I am your teacher that passed on but her words have more power as more days are to come

I belong to you, I am your income

I am your servant, always at the soles of your feet

I am your angel, begging my soul for you to keep

I am your biggest supporter, you know my love for your work is way too deep

I am your diary, secrets that rock you to sleep

I am Nicole, but I am also Sidney

Sidney is my twin, forever we will always be

Sidney was my everything, now it’s just the world and me

I am your rock, withstanding the most painful storm

I am your shelter, a home that, for you, always stays warm

I am behind you every step of the way, I am endlessly beneath you as I struggle everyday

I am what you need me to be every single second of the rest of my days

I love you for always and I will never stray

My words are for you and you know this

My life is dedicated to all and nobody has noticed it

I am your speaker, use me anyway you like

I am Rodney King, I never give up the fight

I am your activist, fighting just for you

I am your follower, without you in my world, I am only the color blue

I am where ever you are, on this ship, I am apart of your crew

Lead me to victory or lead me to defeat, either way my loyalty will never pleat

When I stand with you, that is my life’s greatest feat

I am a twin, a twin I will always be

Even without Sidney, my world is somehow still complete

I am tough like a marine, but for this world, I will weaken to my knees

You can shackle me all you want, but my name is Nicole, and my name means victory

I am courageous as a lion, but I willingly surrender all of my strength to you, we are the bravest alliance

I will give you everything I have, no questions asked

Leave me in the dirt, and I will still give you a pass

You can strike me, but my armor is too strong for me to feel

Or you can hug me, and to you I will always kneel

You will never forget me, this I have made sure

Because I am the world’s most loyal servant, you will never meet anyone more pure

I have no enemies in this world, I have taken much hate unfurled

My love for you will endlessly leave your life in an upwhirl

It is strong as a tsunami, deep as an avalanche, and it is dogged as a pit bull bully mix

I love this world and where I can stand in it, this nobody could ever fix

My name is Nicole and I will fight for you

I am the youngest sibling, I will lose my right eye for you

But stop, I am here to love, please don’t hurt me, as you never should

I know I wasn’t always there, but I loved you as best as I could
